Promoters and Supporters
Founding member who has actively worked in the organization from the very beginning. With his book projects „Is the Sloth really slothful?“ (2015) as well as „Armadillos and Sloth Claws“ (2017), he brings animals and people closer to each other, and financially supports the work of Sphenisco.
Member since 2014, has been promoting regularly since then, and also informs about projects and activities. In 2020, the park funded the project "Bycatch prevention" (Prof. B. Culik) with funds from the Species Protection Euro. Currently, the Bird Park is funding the research project "Breeding success on the Ballestas Islands?" in Peru. The research started at the end of 2021.
Member since 2009, promotes regularly, actively contributes to actions and campaigns, e.g. on World Penguin Day. The zoo supports the 6-year project "Research for Survival" with funds from the Species Protection Euro. The research by Chilean and New Zealand scientists started at the end of 2021 and will provide data on the population in Chile, breeding success and foraging.
Member since 2018, Sphenisco regularly invites to events, informs in different forms about the threat. The zoo has been supporting the species conservation work with large amounts of money since 2019, since 2021 from funds of the Species Conservation Euro. Currently, the zoo is funding the research project "Breeding success on the Ballestas Islands?" in Peru. The research began at the end of 2021.
