Jacklyn Gratzfeld has already exhibited in Miami, Palm Beach, Singapore, Berlin, Toulon, Malta and various places in the Palatinate. The artist wants to "give a voice to the voiceless part of nature", wants to combine art with nature conservation. On her art and nature conservation trips, she has intensively observed and experienced nature and animals, informed herself about the causes of threats and got to know many conservation organizations personally. In line with her consistent commitment, Jacklyn Gratzfeld plans to donate twenty percent of the exhibition proceeds to nature and species conservation organizations (2), including Sphenisco and the Landau Zoo.

Jacklyn Gratzfeld is a member of Sphenisco and dedicated three selected works from the exhibition to the association. The three works are an oil painting and an etching of penguins, as well as an oil painting of a dolphin ("Splashing Spontaneous Spontaneity" see photo). If the paintings are sold during the exhibition, the artist will donate twenty percent of the proceeds to Sphenisco.

In addition, Jacklyn Gratzfeld recently gave Sphenisco three drypoint etchings of a Humboldt penguin and a watercolor with two Humboldt penguins. The association offers these pictures to supporters of species conservation, penguin friends and members.

Art in favor of the Humboldt Penguins

- Drypoint etching "Humboldt" with frame H 22 x W 16 cm (100 €)

- Drypoint etching "Humboldt" Passepartout H 40 x W 30 cm (60 €)

- Watercolor "Two Humboldt Penguins" Passepartout H 40 x 30 W cm (100 €) (see pictures).

This is an "artful" way to support the protection of the Humboldt penguin and - if one follows the view of John Ruskin (3) that "... you can't be angry when you see a penguin" - also a way to stay calm.
