PinguinweinSilver Medal for the 2019 ‟Penguin Wine”

Landau 6. February, 2020.

The ‟Penguin Wine”, a 2019 White Burgundy from the Ramsel Vineyard in Kirrweiler, Germany, was honored with a Silver Medal from the Rheinland-Pfalz Chamber of Agriculture.
A great compliment to Karl Ramsel, who grew and matured the wine, and a (to be expected) confirmation for connoisseurs and friends of the ‟Penguin Wine”, an objective approval, so to speak, for their good taste.

The Agricultural Commerce of Rheinland-Pfalz awards medals in gold, silver and bronze for whines with premium quality wines. These medals have been awarded for the last 67 years. This year, 1.208 vineyards took part, and provided 17.064 products for review. The prizes are seen as valid and objective substantiation of high Quality.

Whoever has tried sampled the wines from Karl Ramsel knows that his competence is not limited to white burgundy. It is thus not surprising that his 2018 Merlot and his 2019 Chardonnay also received awards. Karl is a premium wine maker.
